SYRACUSE, Ind. - Jon Reutebuch has been named the new head coach of Wawasee football, the school announced.
Reutebuch has spent the 14 seasons with the Warriors' football program, including the last 10 as special teams coordinator. He spent 11 years coaching middle school football before that.
"Jon has been a very strong and dedicated coach," athletic director Cory Schutz says. "We look forward to Jon taking the reigns of the football program. His enthusiasm for our students and the game will be exciting to watch moving forward."
Reutebuch teaches social studies at Milford Middle School. He also serves as athletic director for the Lakeland Youth Center in Syracuse.
Wawasee is one of 25 local high schools that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, nutrition, athletic rehabilitation and orthopedic services for Warrior athletes.
