FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Northrop Bruins will look to go through the door rather than just settle for knocking on it in the 2018 season.
Head coach Jason Doerffler, entering his 5th season, says expectations are known for the Bruins, who finished 2-8 a year ago. In 8 of those 10 games, Northrop either led, was tied with the opponent, or with 7 points of the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Northrop returns 10 to 12 total starters on both sides of the ball from a year ago. That experience could help expand the window of opportunity, and turn those close loss scenarios into victories.
