ANGOLA, Ind. - Ribbon-cutting ceremonies formally opened the new Ball Sports Academy, a volleyball specialized complex, north of downtown Angola.
The Ball Sports Academy, 200 Intertech Parkway, is a dream for owner Lloy Ball, a Woodburn native and Olympic Gold Medalist, and his family. Players from Team Pineapple Volleyball, officials with the City of Angola, members of Parkview Sports Medicine and other supporters were on-hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday morning.
The 25,000-sq. ft. facility has 3 full-size indoor courts, a strength training room, a massage room, a wet room, an apparel store/pro shop and a concession stand.
Also included at BSA is the newest Parkview TherapyONE location The 2,500-sq. ft., $370,000 clinic is the sixth TherapyONE location in northeast Indiana.
Parkview TherapyONE specializes in physical therapy and rehabilitation care with a musculoskeletal focus. Services include general orthopedics, athletic rehabilitation, orthotic fabrication, biomechanical and running analyses, dry needling, active release techniques, manual physical therapy and athletic training.
