FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Five North Side High School senior football players put pen to paper Wednesday, signing their national letters of intent to play college football.
Hayden Jones signed with Trine University. Jones, who saw action at both at quarterback and wide receiver, passed for 4 touchdowns as a senior.
Offensive lineman Marvin Williams will join his Legends teammate Jones at Trine.
Jalen Lockett signed with Marian University, an NAIA program in Indianapolis. Lockett was a defensive player and special teams player. He tallied 45 tackles and 1 interception this past season, earning 1st Team All-Summit Athletic Conference honors. . He also averaged 30.2 yards per kick return.
Wide receiver/linebacker Kalen Derosiers signed with back-to-back NAIA national champion University of Saint Francis. Derosiers missed his senior season with injury.
