FORT WAYNE, Ind. - A former local high school volleyball standout will is returning to the game she loves by joining an NAIA volleyball program.
Erica Renninger signed her letter of intent to join Indiana University East during a ceremony at Empowered Sports Club.
Renninger played high school volleyball at Leo. Afterwards, she elected to sit out a year from volleyball. Now, she’s getting back in the game at the collegiate level.
“It’s always something I always wanted to do. It’s always been my dream,” Renninger tells ParkviewSportsMedicine.com. “I just wasn’t ready for it at the time. As soon as I went to IU East, I knew that was the place for me.”
