FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Five South Side High School seniors signed their letters of intent Wednesday, continuing their athletic careers at the college level.
Alejandro Lopez signed with Trine University football. He plans to study communications.
Joining Lopez on the Thunder is Deshawn Boyd. The two-way player averaged 16.7 yards per catch as a receiver and tallied 20 tackles as a defensive back for the Archers this past season. He plans to study physical therapy or exercise science.
Xavier Croxton will play baseball at the University of Saint Francis. A pitcher and outfielder, Croxton plans to study physical therapy and minor in sports psychology.
Cole Hapner will play baseball at Ivy Tech Community College Northeast. He plays infielder for the Archers, but expects to play outfield for the Titans. He is undecided on a major, but is leaning towards sports management.
Imani Robinson signed on to cheer at USF. She will study animation.
