FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After years of anticipation, Fort Wayne basketball phenom Keion Brooks, Jr., made his college hoops intentions known, announcing he will attend the University of Kentucky.
The 5-star senior recruit made his decision to join the public during a made-for-TV primetime announcement Friday night at St. Paul’s Lutheran School, his grade school alma mater in Fort Wayne.
He chose the Wildcats over Indiana, Purdue, North Carolina, Michigan State and North Carolina.
Brooks, a forward, spent his senior season at LaPorte La Lumiere School after playing 3 seasons at North Side High School in Fort Wayne.
